Instant Messenger

Hey 😊

Not sure if it’s something I’m doing (or not doing) or if it’s a common thing with IMs but I can see that I get a in my alerts but when I go onto IM to look and to try and reply, the messages disappear!

I’m not ignoring anyone on purpose!

I wish I could help. But I suspect you are not a paid member. I don't think that it works unless both parties are paid members. Even when I was a Gold member, it never worked for me. Anyway, welcome to the blogs. Best to you. You will fnd, that there are way to communicate in these spaces. Most or perhaps I should say that most of the screen names are scammers and fakes.

Welcome. If you click on reply in the alert it will not show up when IM opens.
Open IM first then hit reply

IM is pretty unreliable. Try not clicking on the alert but going to the IM. Are you using desktop or phone? The system can vary a lot depending on which you're using

Also see if you are online or offline. The third button on the left on top of the screen will tell. It looks like a chat box with 3 buttons. Every so often its off on mine and I can't talk to people. Though with this IM its hard to talk with people anyways. Good luck.

Do not waste your time on IM. It is inhabited with loaded members(fake accounts, there to make you think people actually use this shit.) The other 10% are time wasters, fakes and malicious scammers.

Alt. doesn't care if you connect, make friends or have a fruitful experience using their junk site. It is a conduit for their other sites and scam show.

Unless i am wrong as a paid member if i IM someone i think they can reply free?..prepared to be contradicted though...

IM is as broken as it's ever been. It seems to censor msgs, assuming it allows them through.
Even between paying members.
