I don't think somebody has to be mean or unkind to get their point across I believe everybody has personal responsibility as to whom and what they want to be.

Obesity, is a problem all over this country. IN my area, we do not have a significant population of Black or other ethnic populations. We do have one of the highest overall obesity rates. That is why there are several major heart surgery facilities in NE Wisc0onsin. What we don't have are Bariatric Physicians dealing with weight and eating disorders. The diet in my neck of the woods is overall bad. Way too much fried and fatty foods. When, their was more people doing more physical work, construction, many factory jobs and such which are not fulfilling those jobs with women. Far more women in this area are overweight. Males are too as so may seeks work that is not as physical. And, as factories automate with robots and such, less of the jobs are physical to the degree they were. Another problem is societal acceptance regionally of both diet and the physical nature of the population. it gets bad in the Winters here as people tend to hibernate and stay inside where it is warmer. This is not a justification for obesity, but just the reality. It wasn't so much an issue50- pr ,ore years ago. So, after a cup of coffee, I will be headed to the health club. Oh wait, I have to clear the snow first.

I would be willing to bet that most of her entourage - dancers and maybe even Lizzo herself are already type 2 diabetics or at the very least pre-diabetic. I agree with Jillian that obesity is not something we should be admiring.

People who defend obesity or either obese and insecure or are people who want to sound caring. But truly caring for someone is pushing them to make the right decisions no matter how hard it is.

So young to be chasing such social injustice. If you walk into a supermarket, you'll find that the best caloric bang for the buck is in the junk food aisle. So when you're poor, you sort of have to shop for junk food. We all know how expensive Organic produce or meats are. And the mass produced food in the US often doesn't really qualify as food.
