Anyone else have issues with the Instant messenger here?

It's really annoying how often it doesn't work, or it works for a couple minutes and then just stops out of no where. Anyone know who to contact to get the website to fix it?

After you've been on ALT for any length of time, you'll come to realize they never actually fix anything.

Sort of like a game of 'whack A Mole'. If one thing gets better, something else gets worse.

Trying to use the IM is an exercise in frustration.

And it has been for a long long time.

 here's an idea that might help: take a big wad of cash and flush it down the toilet (and hope the pipes don't clog) OR you can send it to Alt and ask them to fix their money grubbin site

 When it does work, which is infrequent, it is all fakes and scammers, so do not feel like you are missing anything. It is just another way we are showing what morons we are by thinking this site serves any purpose besides taking our money.

 My suggestion is that if you cannot get I.M. to work for you. You might want to set up a private mail box in the blogging system and let others know you have one by putting it in your profile and they can message you there. There was a blog a couple of days ago how to do it. Look for it and it will tell you how to set it up. Best of luck to you. L

 I have a new exciting problem, so at least there is variety. I have actually had 2 good looking ladies IM me (unheard of) in 48hrs. Obviously, when I click to reply nothing happens. All normal so far. But then 2-3 minutes later the whole PC crashes. So, point to PicoTittle, these peeps in the 3rd world are actually getting better at their jobs !
