SKINNY WORLD SKINNY WORLD She was born into a skinny world, she always feels out of place, feels alone, even in a room full of normals. She puts on a happy face, a be it as it may face, but inside she just wants to run and pull the covers over her obese body,. In her mind's eye, she is normal, but when she sees her reflection in a store window, she withdrawals a little more. Each time behind her wall, her safe place she recedes to when she isn't able to color her existence rosy red. She had tried to be a wife but it was the wrong man. She has all the earthly things but her heart, her being, longs for someone to hold her, touch her, to get behind her wall and love her for who she is and not because she can do something for him…… does a man like this exist? is there someone who means what he says?. She tries, she hopes, she is disappointed. Many many times. She views her future as lonely, as singular, as tiresome, tired of putting on a face that doesn't truly reflect what she feels…… still she hopes, she waits. ~ Victoria 2016 ~ |
