Finding myself again I have been struggling, as we do at one time or another. I have loved and lost. It is painful. But I always had hope for the future. Something has changed. I am sure the corona virus and quarantine has not helped. I have searched myself and come realize what has changed, I have lost my hope; my belief in the future, in love, in decency. I have found myself in the past. More than once I have gone through metamorphosis like a butterfly; changing after circumstances beyond my control, come back better, stronger, more vibrant. I am on a journey understand why my hope has deserted . I am a journey find myself again, find my joy again. And part of that is finding that girl inside of who is hiding away from the pain of the world. That girl used dance in the rain and naked under the full moon. She loved with her whole heart and gave with joy. I look forward finding her and opening the world back her. |
