I was forced to go on Medicare. My employer requires that if your 65, either working or retired, you are no longer on the company's policy. They do pay for premiums and for a supplemental plan. It's the drugs are a bitch. My Employer pays the Union to provide Drugs, Dental, Eyewear, etc. They have discretion on how they use this money. One union will not pay for Drugs but has a good Dental. When someone had a bad reaction to the generic medication they refused brand name. The CS rep told them if they had a heart attack they would pay for the brand name. The plan they use for Drugs is a headache. They are a Medicare D plan and I cannot get an accurate price on meds and had to layout 3K when in the Doughnut Hole after 3 months on the plan I am lucky my pension is 80% of a large salary, but someone once said the average Employer Pension is 19K.

Circumlocution is a good word. MY m inclination is to apply a similar sounding word to alt: Circumcision.
