I've felt that way more than I care to remember --- if we lived closer I'd give you a tight hug whenever you needed

I want to give you a hug too. I have been witness to generational violence on both sides of my family tree. I deal with it by being a sadist. It affords me the opportunity to express that part of my personality in a completely controlled situation. Family baggage sucks! I hope you find some peace.

Hugs to you

Sending out hugs. We all can be in that "stuck" feeling in our hometowns when we move back. I moved back for my Mom when she hit 90. I said I woudl stay as long as she was alive. ovig back to California after she passed did not make any sense. My plan was to say and work, since career choices and jobs are limited once you pass 55. But the plan way to move to the West coast again. But I may just settle here for the time being. It is cheap to live and now that I am on a fixed income, I am not planning on spending much on moving costs. I would rather spend it on trips and good wine . First i have to do some rehab work still on the old homestead. Why bother? Well, I want to make it more saleable or sell it for income as a rental property. I know your there in part to help your Mom. I can respect that, it is not easy. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

An e-hug is all I can do for now Good Luck and keep your head held high. I remember seeing some of the bullies that were so cool years ago in high school and they look funny with their pot belly and semi bald heads
