 Living in South Portugal for some time, late summer till winter, i learned to always have candles in the house, because the electricy system is not always reliable.
When there is lighting or the useal very big rains… the electricity is gone.

Back in Holland, i still hold on to that habbit, allways have candles in the house, you just never know....

 I guess when you live as long as we have you tend to be more prepared than the youngsters that "Live in the moment".
