I have suspected The Thugs have been showing up ever since that deal at a California University 3-4 years ago. Back to Nixon, the Republicans have been paying people to come in to "protest" and or just plain disrupt, or make it look like the other side has thugs by mixing in with peaceful protestors. I would love to see someone come out and admit to getting paid. In effect he has paid off farmers to a degree with subsidies in connection with he created trade war with China. Which if he really was wanting to fix the trade situation he would start by getting his red hats made here and his daughters clothing, jewelry or whatever made here too. I applaud what you say. This is about finding a vaccine. No matter how much we social distance, life wont return to normal until then. If one person in a crowd or arena has the virus, it puts EVERYONE there at risk. I understand peoplewanting to return to work & need money butthis isnt the way to go about it !!! STAY HOME, KEEP SAFE DISTANCE, LIVE and LET LIVE !!!!

You are correct as usual Gottin. The protestors are basically morons who are easily influenced. Or they are so incensed by their privilege that they can't get their hair or nails done. Besides not taking Civics in school they apparently skipped history classes as well. Every single one of us is sick and tired of being locked down, but I want to ensure that we all make it through this, so I am staying home. Only time I go out is for long walks in the park, or to forage for staples every couple weeks. As for 2old2run, please do not dictate what people can and cannot put in their blogs. Seeing pix of your sorry old ass is not one of the top 5000 things I want to do in the blogs day after day, but hey I just never open your blog so I don't have to see it. Perhaps if others, myself included, are not pandering to your very limited ability to think about anything but your tiny pathetic cock....then don't open our blogs. I am genuinely confused about what the protesters are trying to accomplish. The Supreme Court cases interpreting the constitution make clear that reasonable restrictions (under the specific circumstances) on right to assemble, free speech, etc. are permissible under the constitution. Do people really dispute this point? Why on earth are some protesters bringing guns (to protest a stay at home directive), and what is the deal with confederate flags brought to a rally in support of the constitution? The confederacy doesn't have a great track record supporting the constitution. And the White House is not putting its reputation on the line by advocating a widespread opening of businesses, so why are they trying to get people to ask their state Governors to do just that? I think they want businesses to open, but want deniability if it goes badly ("we didn't tell businesses to open, state governments did . . ."). Not accepting responsibility in this way is not leadership. I also don't think much of the argument that going to the grocery store is dangerous too, so why focus on protests. It's about using judgment. We all need supplies, so people need to do some amount of shopping. The difference is choosing to eliminate or at least reduce trips that are discretionary rather than strictly necessary. Shopping for necessary supplies is not the same as attending unnecessary outings. That's why all stadium events have been canceled. Make reasonable and responsible decisions, and stay well, folks.
