I am glad you were able to help your brother see it was time. Big relief for both of you. Keep your Cootie shield up. Sunlight. Vitamin D. Hand washing. Onward with your life.

I'm sure your bro appreciates your help and Mom is in the place she needs. Keep safe

Sorry to hear about the issues with your mother & well done for supporting
your brother. I'm sure he appreciates it, I know I would have done.
I lived with my father for the last two years of his life, so I understand some of
the things you are going through. I didn't get as much support from my sister
as I would have liked, but hay ho, such is life.
Anyway, all the best, hugs from the UK.

As one who was there with my mother, it's not easy. Still, the love shown by your brother and you will be a comfort for the both of you. Getting there, ahh. That's good good fight. Blessings on the both of you.

I feel for you. I think I may have to follow your footstep with my remaining parent but we'll see.

I went through that 11 years ago. When my mother died my father had to go into assisted living. The problem was his 2 sons lived in the NYC area and he lived in Ft. Lauderdale area. I was lucky I had a Civil Service job with 5 weeks vacation and could go down every other month, but that wasn't enough. He died 4 months after my mother. I was scheduled to see him but when I got there I only saw him unconscious and on a ventilator.
