 I tell myself that things have always been unraveling and then re-raveling since the beginning of time. (It's just the turn of us hominids to continue the cycle.) I have also had my toe dipped into the vapors, and came out understanding that I am really just a bunch of elements from the stars made sentient with byelectrochemical signals. Instead of sending me into the slough of despond (I love your terms), it has brought laughter to my innards, and I keep on truckin'.

I am glad that a conversation with a friend has sent you gardening. I plan to start with sugar snap peas in the middle of April and take it from there.
