HERPES With the stats @ 3 out of 5 people have it, no one ever is willing tell, being in the scene since 78 have never heard one person say they had it; makes us wonder what else is hidden? Any comments? |

I have had unprotected (I didn't wear a condom) sex with two women that had genital herpes. In both cases, I was not told that she had herpes until AFTER we had sex. It is in my limited experience that people who have herpes will not tell you ahead of time that they have it, and even though it is contagious and incurable, they don't seem to mind if they give it to others. And yes, there still is no cure for herpes. If anyone ever say there is, they are either lying, or they are hopelessly stupid.

Oh, one more thing. Out of pure dumb luck, I do not have herpes. Or AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhea, hepatitis, or genital warts. But I do not press my luck anymore. If I have any doubts, I insist that my partner get a blood test, with the results in writing. I'll pay for the test. If they won't take a blood test, say goodbye and find someone else.

Once you contract a Lysogenic virus it's genetic material combines with your own and becomes a part of you. There can never be a cure. Everyone is composed of 5 to 6 % virus DNA, For something that's not alive and has such a profound effect on a living host they are absolutely amazing. They change us genetically at least those types do. A lytic virus is a whole different story.

Before the AIDS era, i had unprotected sex, sometimes, not all the time, that was years, and years ago. After AIDS came in to the world, i demand on a STD test. The extentive test! And i dont pay for it, if that other person does not want to pay for it, my health seems not to be that important for him. That says enough. byebye.

This has nothing to do with herpes. I have noticed that you flirted with me 2/3 times recently. from blood tests that I always repeat twice a year it was never shown to have herpes or AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhea, hepatitis or genital warts. Maybe I belong to those 2 out of 5 who are healthy

As to STDs, i get tested regularly, even during Covid. i cannot imagine not being tested.

I’ve had several to tell me. Mind you it is a criminal offense to knowingly infect another, and subject to civil redress as well. Viral shedding is ever present so you subject to exposure with unprotected sex, however the viral load my not reach the infectious threshold until right before, during, or after an outbreak. The treatment with the Rx Acyclovir doesn’t stop viral shedding. Your playing Russian roulette to play with anyone how is HSV + when you are not. Always ask and play safe

maybe it would be best that everyone with an std should be required to have a toxic symbol tattooed in their pubic area, the bleeding heart libs should be able to get that put into law

I had a scare when I was 16, and had a very uncomfortable conversation with our family doctor. Living in a small town, it was hard to keep secrets. Turns out, it was just red bugs. That was the last time I had spontaneous sex in the woods. But I learned a lesson that has stayed with me ever since. My first wife and I had an open marriage, so I insisted on regular testing and that whomever I was with be tested. Everyone wants to play. No one wants something they can't wash off. If they aren't mature enough to have that conversation before things turn sexual, then they have no business coming home with me. I will die on this hill.

So those "Cold Sores" you get in your mouth? Herpes I. My ex-wife's ex-boyfriend had gone down on her when he had a couple of cold sores on his lips. Thus she had Herpes I but not on her mouth. She was concerned about transmitting it to me (I guess she knew she wasn't in for the long hall lol). The doctor informed us that since I had Cold sores in my mouth, she couldn't infect me with something I already had.

yep 35 years a trampy lady i was with gave me that god bless the slut havent had one outbreak since....yep i got the herpes so does kimberly linam but she wont tell ya cause?? dont know ill tell my partners what they need to know what is my responsibility to tell em and im really really irresponsible....dont know what her problem was/is!!!
