No one wants the real you. It's just a cliche and sounds so noble. People are too busy with themselves to deal with real you.

Maybe no one there wants the real you, but real is all I want. At the end of the day the fantasy is over and all you have is reality. I don't want someone putting on an act for me. If I'm going to be with her and accept her. I need all her pretenses stripped away and her soul open and naked before me. I won't settle for anything less.

This is my kind of thinking too, but it seems it doesn't work that way in reality. People say one thing, do the other and god knows what they really think... but in my experience, it was all but not as presented. Is this the part where everyone walks around with a mirror in front of their face so they can find someone who is real for them? My favorite song is "Talking World War Three Blues. Stanza: You can be in my dreams if I can be in yours." Your reality is interesting to me. Would love the share side. Photos were interesting and your thoughts are echoes for us all.

You can only ever be you (although, to an extent, we can re-invent ourselves). Your problem is (I am sure, never having met you!) not the "you" you are but the "them" you have chosen to be you with. Don't try to be anything for anybody, be yourself and seek out those that appreciate it is precisely that which makes you special.

I love to see beautiful images, some are pure art, besides making your imagination run and fuel your fantasies, as you well said... but that's simply not enough to feed other hunger, hunger for closeness, bond, trust, connection, acceptance... all seem to be more difficult to make real than any of those fantasies on pictures above.
