It can truly be a leap of faith. Letting a little crack in that wall we put up can lead to unknown adventures and wonderful experiences. The goodness that has come to you is well deserved

I had such a relationship, we met in Vegas, both from opposite sides of the continent. She was there on a break from her life, I was there for the first time. We both said the right things and had a great time seeing the sights. Exchanged info, then started to meet, started like random fun filled mini vacas, then she started to come to my town to see me. Then she quit her job and moved here. Sounds great right. Her getaways from her life ended as she brought her problems with her, which had been before, left behind. My point is when both step out of their world, for a change/break. They leave their worries and conundrums behind. The meetings are wonderful, where living together, just in the same town, was different

Risk is inevitable, but without taking the risk, how can we ever know... I am sorry it didn't work well with you and the lady you are mentioning. It is for sure that occasionally meeting, escaping, from everyday routines, are one thing while living together nearby, or even together is something completely different.
I believe things can work if both parties are willing to put some effort into that relationship. Nothing good in life comes in an easy way... and we all have our baggage, as we all had lives before we met... |

Thank you, M. I believe that finding what brings us peace is a huge step forward in reaching it.
Then it is up to us and how willing we are to put the efforts, patience, consistency, not give up when becomes a bit tough...
