Yes. I agree. If you speak to or argue with a fool, you only fuel their fire of ignorance.

. . . fuel their fire of ignorance . . . a nice turn of phrase

Sometimes I'm tempted to ask: Do you think my life and experiences that have shaped my thoughts are invalid ? Maybe one day.

Jeez, just had this happen this morning. Just gotta walk away from fools

It takes a much stronger person to just listen or walk away.

Hmmm, wise words... I learn all the time, on here, thank you. I know, i dont know nearly enough to be the smart one on all and everything. My life experience gives me some head Sart, some insight in human behaviour, be able to predict some, sometimes, but sometimes it doesnt...

There is no poverty like ignorance.

there’s a fine line between being a genius & an idiot thou we all at times exhibit both traits! a person w experience & wisdom knows better to waste time & energy using logic on an inexperienced fool!

Ex This is a GREAT post ! Have you had to deal with a fool recently? A smart person also knows their limitations nd where to ask for help... A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw Jenny

One of my favorite Bukowski quotes is "the problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence".. I tend to listen. and watch, before I open my mouth. "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.”
