As children we had monsters . . as adults we have demons. As a child your parents told you monster don't really exist. As an adult we tame our demons, but don't say that too loudly as to wake them.

Hmm, As a child i knéw the monsters could be very well, "very nice" human beings.... In such a way, that the inmaginary monsters under your bed, in the dark of your bedroom, were lovely, caring, friends.... How is that for a reality? Therapy did help! LOL You can get the child out of the war, but it is a lot more difficult to get the war out of the child....

What about the Loch Ness monster? You know this makes me concerned for your happiness and well-being. I very much hope all is well with you! Make Women Female Again

I think the worst part of the monsters is that they hide in plain sight.......

As a child, I never imagined that all of the real monsters in the world would be politicians................

ExNameForUse, Yes, especially narcistic / psychopaths, folks can act like that.... Driving the other crazy, while they should be the one, put in isolation, or something like that... The realisation of struggling with aspects of your past, can help to solve those problems or at least help you, cope with those aspects, recognise the mechanisms, the pitfalls, and how that can still trigger some stimulus response mechanism.... without a awareness of those mechanisms... If you understand what i mean.

Hmm, sighs, i somehow do recognise this... Bounderies.... safery, for one self.... Those strugges are also part of who you are, or, who you became... ?
