I feel for you girl lDKY you’re revoked especially if you’re a UK citizen but live off the mother mainland...seems bizarre absurd udderly fuKn ridiculous!

ExNameForUse replies on 4/17/2023 8:41 pm:
I am not their citizen, BDD, but would love to travel there without humiliation with ridicule process of gathering 93 pages of supporting docs to my visa application plus the visa fee... and then being refused by some clerk who had a bad day.
On the other hand thausands of immigrants with not a single document even passport are welcomed there and treated with utter hospitality...
I dont want to relocate, I am not an immigrant or refugee.. I just want to spend my vacation there, spend some money there and come back home... why they make it so difficult, many do not understand.
This is what this petition is for

Thank you... it's a long way, but just like with any other, it has to start with some small steps, whether we reach the goal or not.

OK l thought you all were part of the sovereign country of UK but you all claimed independence in 1981 but are still part of the commonwealth of nations w a constitutional monarchy of King spoiled Chump III as ruler soo...l suspect UK is holding a secret silent political grudge w you all for wanting to revolt as we Americans did 100+ yrs before you all!
I do wish you luck thou you deserve to travel there or anywhere you choose as well we all should be able to do!

I don't know anything, but I suspect the war in Ukraine has tightened all movement in and out of Soviet states by western governments.

ExNameForUse replies on 4/18/2023 3:28 am:
Serbia never was part of former USSR, like Ukraine that you have mentioned.
Serbia is not even geographicaly close enough for what you are suggesting, as there are countries situated between Serbia and now Russia, but thank you for your observation.

But I agree that it is always about politics. Whether they allow some to enter their country completely paperless, or dont allow others even with all supporting docs and founds.

Dear Ex💋..... The bigger the government bureaucracy the less common sense prevails and the more poisonous are the politics.... 😎

I assume that what you're asking for is a paperwork free 90 day UK tourist/visitor visa when traveling on a Serbian passport? Usually, whether or not a visa is paperwork free (e.g. implied with the passport) tends to depend both on the country issuing the passport and the country that you're visiting. The issue is vetting (or screening) visitors.. If it can be done automatically as part of some (reliable) reciprocal data exchange system then the visa is usually implied with the passport. Otherwise, the paperwork is needed in an attempt to vet visitors. Therefore, the issue is more likely to be that the Serbian government hasn't worked out a reciprocal data exchange system with the UK that would allow paperwork free tourist/visitor visas rather than the preservation of some arcane UK bureaucracy and no amount of UK citizen petitions will change that

ExNameForUse replies on 4/18/2023 6:13 am:
Thank you for your comment and thoughts, you got it right what this petition is all about.
The truth is that with Serbian passport I can travel all around Europe, to each and every country, but not the UK, even when the UK was part of the European Union, before BREXIT.
It is a bit ridiculous to be it this way, maybe for the reason you mentioned, maybe something beyond my comprehension.
Not sure this petition can change anything, as you said, without strong diplomatic work, but at least it can be heard. Little steps.
Thank you again!

Sir- you do make very good "bureaucratic" points- However as Ex noted IF the person is a... illegal/undocumented/alien/immigrant/wanderer/stranger... then who cares about paperwork? Nobody cares about background or criminal records or any of that stuff BUT if you are an innocent Serbian citizen seeking to legally visit the "authorities" make it as difficult as humanly possible WTF???🙄

ExNameForUse replies on 4/18/2023 11:40 am:
Exactly, my friend, you hit the nail on with this comment... you know... I don't even mind collecting all the necessary paperwork, nor did Scribe as he had his share... two times, I didn't mind nor would I paying again the visa fee which is around 125 GBP... if that actually works and if I am actually going to get that visa... because all my papers submitted were clear, transparent, and true... and in their response they confirmed that all, BUT the immigration officer wrote that I didn't convince HIM I shall be back home after my vacation... which basically means what... you can have it all as requested but if the officer has a bad day, or for some reason decides you are not to his liking... I am stuck there and no paper or proof could help me... and that is as you said WTF!!!

Thank you, Jenny. I know that if you could, you would help.
Even sharing this petition somewhere else, on some other platform, so that as many as possible people see... it could help.. there is always a way.
And if not, knowing you wish me well is more than enough
