That vacation sounds like heaven to me! My gypsy soul is calling me to wander again. I no longer see the need to resist.

This is going to be a warming-up vacation, as I hope to be able to travel again next year... but more than happy to have so many days ahead of me doing things on my own, resting, sleeping, relaxing, and not having to watch my clock or worry about anything... at this time, this is all I need |

I will, I sure will... just having my morning coffee with no rush, sitting on a balcony, and listening to the birds singing is enough for me... but there are more I have in mind and hopefully, I will make each day a little special for me  |

It was a nice evening here with Amstel and Tina, they were pretty good company.. though the news about Tina made me sad... she was so special in so many ways, a real storm lady, and now when she is gone I feel as though one era is gone with her... xxx |

A few books waiting for quite some time now for me to reach for them... one is Lara Prescott's "The Secrets we kept", which was a recommendation made by one of our bloggers here a long time ago when he asked about books we read... I bought it then and now is finally time to read it... there is also Elena Ferrante's tetralogy "Neapolitan Quartet" that I would like to at least start reading as there are four books creating one story... so will see how far I shall get  |

Keeping calm and staying away from any sort of drama.....
Yep ... That's certainly the way to spend your vacation. Sounds as though you have a lot of productive things you want to get accomplished while you're away from work. Clearing out the clutter and old unused items is a good idea, as is making some changes to your bedroom .... Make your place more comfy/cozy for yourself.
I perked up at the mention of tanning. I can almost see you strolling about in one of your light summer dresses, or catching some rays by the lake. We're gonna get some photos of that - Right?

Speaking of dresses, this morning I did some "examination" of my summer dresses and once I give them some nice conditioner refresh and iron them... I can't wait to put them on and away I go... for the rest, we shall see... |
