You can be your own glimmer. Or be a glimmer in someone else's life, too.
What are your glimmers?

I saw the first lovely apricots this season in my open market and that made me smile... my glimmer for this morning

I have always associated glimmers with glimpses
.
My understanding...

A glimmer is a faint light; a dim glow while glimpse is a brief look, glance, or peek

ExNameForUse replies on 6/6/2023 10:57 am:
My first association with glimmer was glimmering nail polish

ENfu

Honestly? Just looking at your new profile picture makes me forget all my troubles...and makes me reconsider my settings on ALT with regards to age limitation, set at 35, to 53. I wasn't really aware that females at your age could be so charming and attractively shaped. Be sure lady that you make an impression.

P.S.: I mean every word.

I have so many glimmers in my life that I try to share them with those around me.

ExNameForUse replies on 6/6/2023 1:01 pm:
It may well be that we all have plenty of them around us if only we would pay more attention to all those little "glims", notice and appreciate them... and if we have the opportunity - share them with someone, too.

Ex

This is another lovely and informative and interesting post

I think, Jenny, it is what you do every now and then, in your blogs when you as us about what are we thankful for that day... you do remind us to look around us for those glimmers and to be thankful for having them

Glimmers are the sunrise of the soul.
And just as each morning sky differs,
So to glimmers ebb and flow through the course of our lives.
Each should be appreciated for it's unique beauty.
And the stirrings of the heart they bring.

When life keeps throwing at us all sorts of trigger-causing moments, it becomes too hard sometimes to see anything else but what keeps us in a survival defensive mode... which is such a misfortune, as there is so much light and glitters we miss seeing, feel, smell, taste in fear of being hurt.
It is why words that glitters are hope do resonate with me. Hope things, life, and this day... will be a little better.
My morning glitters are the scent of mowed grass and birds singing since early morning... sitting on my balcony enjoying coffee...

Glimmers, not one at a time but combined might take your breath away.

I still remember those breathtaking moments, even times...
