Valentine

Happy Valentines Day to you all!

It is normally just another day in my life, and has been for a number of year. It was a day for Romance, which my heart had often yearned for but never received. Now in my older years, I have moved from romance to love, and of course have fit in my new mantra of expect nothing. My take aways from today:

1. Virtual flowers from my jester- great way to start the day. Reminded me of the value of good friends. I’ll take that over romance any day.

2. Hugs from a - the ultimate form of love in the purest form. No expectations, no ulterior motives

3. A hello from a crush- expect nothing, but still allow yourself to dream It keeps us all young.

4. My blog- it has allowed me the freedom to open up and be real and honest, even if no one reads it or it leads to nothing. It has been a good outlet for me.

So however you celebrate today, be it in the arms of a lover, or in isolation alone, may you find some love today.

Hugs and kisses to all

Lisa mac

well said..im spending the day alone trying to be productive learning something. I'm glad your blog helps you. Fear is what keeps people from being free. It looks like your blog is good for you.

Looks like you got some love on Valentines day, the world maybe in lockdown but it appears people do care.
