A show of affection. A little background first. Sir and I normally once a month or so choose and old movie to watch. Normally on our couch with a big bowl of popcorn. Sometimes he chooses the movie sometimes I do. This time it was my turn. I chose and old Sidney P. movie because I loved the song at the end of it. It was very affectionate. As I watched the movie with Sir snuggling even closer to him words began to form in my head what he has meant to me. My words are not meant to match the song only its affection. These are those words done good or bad. When we met your smile ,your holding of my hand , your kiss, melted this bruised and battered cold heart. I knew then I had met at the very least my best friend. What do you give someone who's taken you from fantasy books and grimaced looks to smiles and love of life. I would give you the moon and stars but I cant they are not mine to give. What do you give someone who's taken from you all your doubts , fears and insecurities . Ropes and chains and new fangled things don’t seem to be near enough. Silly me I’ve had the answer all along. Here is my heart To Sir with Love.
