After a very emotional Christmas weekend Sir talked about a need to get away for a few days just to relax and have some fun and also to get our selves mentally ready for what we knew would be coming. The latter however would be after we returned home unless something happened beforehand .

We agreed our trip should be no more then an hour away so we could rush back and be with our friend should his wife pass before our scheduled returned . We well grieve mourn a friends loss but also to remember to celebrate the life that will have passed on. I will keep my promise to her and remember her words to me always. But I am very glad, as selfish as it may sound , that I had this wonderful weekend with Sir before we face those factors.
