Ink... Blog follow in comments.. ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

What do you think of ink? Especially on one of your subs? When my last Dom and I met he was a very straight laced accountant. And I asked him over and over if my tattoo's bothered him? Every time he said absolutely not! And to his credit in the 11 years we were together it was never a issue... This is not the case now... While I have received many positive comments on my ink. I have literally had conversations stopped because of it. The last one I had spent about 12 hours talking with a Dom, before he saw a pic of me and my tattoo's.. His response "I don't like tattoo's"... After a few minutes our conversation ended. We have never spoke again. Is our world still so shallow that someone would not be accepted because of tattoo's?? Apparently, yes... ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~

I dont understand why people have such a problem with tatoos.

I have a ton of tats and if that is a deal breaker for anyone. I can guarantee that we never would have worked out. Sounds like he should stay in the shallow end of the pool. I will blow your mind like a verbal John Wilkes Booth

It may be a matter of cultural awareness. As you are no doubt aware, tattoos have a long tradition of being a mark of being low class. Tatooing was historically not an accepted part of Western culture, and was largely confined to seamen. In Japan it is a symbol of of gangsterism and prostitution. Western women, apparently unaware of this distinction, see paintings of tattooed Japanese women and may mistakenly think it is accepted as a mark of beauty in Japan. If you visit Japan you won't be allowed into a public bath or hot-springs inn if you have a noticeable tattoo. The high proportion of tattooed strippers in America may indicate that the acceptability of all but the most modest tattoos is still culturally limited. I personally think a woman's skin is much more beautiful unadorned, but it's still a free country, so whatever floats your boat.

Some men like slim women some like curvy. Some women like beards and some don't. Some like a certain style and others prefer a different style. What are tattoos any different? Some like some do not there is nothing sinister just personal preferences which we are all entitled to.

Anyone as they want, it's their body and their decision. But the beauty of the body and the skin does not have to be defaced by any pictures. And remember that you are getting older and still drag these pictures with you. Even if you want to erase it, your skin will never be the same again. Is just my opinion

For Gawd sakes people .... We're all different and we're all into different things and different things attract us. Yeah, can people have a preference without the condemnation?!?!
