Well...nothing surprises me! See below... ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

Especially what you might see in our day to day life... I am at the local laundromat yesterday drying a king size comforter... I hear footsteps.... Distinct clicking of high heels... I look up from my phone... I see a guy walking towards me carrying his basket, wearing a pair of sweat pants pulled up his leg, a golf type shirt, and a pair of high heels... This is not what I would expect at any laundromat. Especially in blue collar, Milwaukee, Wisconsin... I see no point in being subtle here, he's not... So I asked "what's the deal with the heels"? He goes "I just think I should be able to wear them".. I go "right on"... Can I take a pic? He hesitated for a second then said ok... I wish you could have seen his full outfit and face... But I wasn't going to violate his privacy like that... He told me most people don't even notice he walks around in heels. I said, I don't know about that? But most people are not going to ask like I did... I have no idea what his message was? Or if he even had one? But I applaud his not giving a fuck attitude! Life is short... Live it on your terms!! ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~

That does take a set ...!

"I just think I should be able to wear them".. Of course he should be able to wear them. The question is why the fuck would you want to? Personally, I go for comfort and a pair of high heels doesn't seem like they'd be comfortable for long. Exactly. Give me a pair of flip flops or a pair of sneakers any day. There is not only the comfort factor, but also stability considerations. Yeah, but we don't wear heels, so what do we know..... I suppose there's some truth to that. Make Women Female Again

So you're in Milwaukee and not Tucson? Hell, we're virtually neighbors. Cudos to heels man, good for him, wish I could be a little more assertive

What really, really, ... REALLY...annoys me is when a pulls them off better than I do! I mean I'm expected by society, and some men, to wear them, so naturally I think I should look good. Now when these inventions of the Marquise de Sade are optional for men and they really look great in them....ARRRRRGH...😂😂😂😂😜

I might need to start going to the laundromat. It appears more interesting than the one I have at home.

Different, but maybe the dog hid all his shoes. Did you give him the thumbs up?

pac HOORAY for him! It takes courage , no matter what he says! Thank you for sharing! A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw Jenny

He's a fucking hero... The one time I wore heels (for a fancy dress party!) I almost broke my bloody ankle. Heels are the reason that women are the true superior gender!

I thought Jenny would be impressed. As for WTs comment about the true superior gender. What was it they said about Ginger Rodgers? Did all the same dances as Fred Astair, but backwards in heels! I was in my local supermarket a couple of years ago. There was this guy, I think he'd had a few drinks & was having trouble getting his stuff through the self service till. His stuff being 6 or 8 packs of pantyhose, about 4 tops & a couple of skirts & nothing else. He was telling the young female supermarket worker, that his wife, (he wasn't wearing a wedding ring), had asked him to pick up a few things for her when he was in the supermarket. But he hadn't bought anything other than ladies clothing, & I can see a woman asking her man to pick up some pantyhose for her. But would she really ask him to buy tops & skirts? Surely she would want to chose style, colours, sizes. I think he was doing some personel shopping.

Reminds me of the question: Who was the better dancer - Fred Astaire or Ginger Rogers? Answer: Ginger. She did the same steps as Fred only she did them walking backwards and in high heels.
