Are just that, wild...

A female handler at a Utah reptile center is actually lucky to be alive....

As she was attempting to coax a large alligator back into it's water tank, while families watched, the gator grabs her hand instead and pulls her into the water....

The gator thrashes and attempts to pull the trainer deeper into the water. Known as the death spiral in wild conditions...

A woman was filming when her husband jumped into the tank and on top of the alligator to wrestle the handlers hand out of the gators mouth... Another guest also assisted him...

Talk about a couple of hero's... The handler had surgery and is expected to be fine...

Mentally though you wonder....

The uncertainty of a wild animal turning on you has to constantly be a concern when working with these animals....

Especially alligators... Do you think evolution has made a perfect predator, anything but what it is?

I don't...

Alligators in FL are serious business. I'll let the handling to the experts.

I agree drmgirl… I have fished at alligator alley years ago… And I kept one eye on gators like they kept one eye on me!

pac: please don't show stuff like this again. Show Packers or titties or pussys but not this kind of crapola. Please.

When you fuck with nature, sometimes she fucks back. That handler looks like she's slipping into shock in the photo.

pac

Her story was on the News here too!

I am glad she survived!

Yeah she did… Makes you wonder if she will do that job again though? That’s real life nightmares for sure…

Maybe a dozen yrs ago, golfing @ Grand Cypress Golf Club Orlando , ( google it Pac), late afternoon out by myself. Tee box next to one of the lakes and right as I smacked my tee shot, out of the water comes a gator. Not all the way , but at least half . Looking right at me, mouth a bit open. Maybe 20-25' away. SCARED THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME..!! I was in the cart and took off in seconds flat. Fairway runs along the water and when I stopped and checked out the lake, sure enough , there's Mr. Gator cruising along, just his eyes above the water line. Probably thinking, 'Ha.., scared another one..!"
As the saying goes, 'stick your hand in the fire, expect to be burned'.

Ohh yeah SD... I have seen so many gator stories around courses in Florida...

That would have scared the shit out of me to... No thank you! Gators and me do not need to come remotely close to one another...

To think a gator would respond to a signal from anyone seems ludicrous to me... She is lucky to be alive!

Thanks for sharing your story SD..
