 ever look at some of the early 50s true crime stuff? mags like 'real detective' 'true detective' & master detective'? the cover art on those are decideley BDSM oriented.. some of them damn near NSFW

 A friend of mine dropped off 6 years worth of Popular Mechanics last year, every second page was either a cigarette or whisky ad, and there were at least 4 or 5 gun ads in every issue.
We were cutting out the actual articles and projects to save for the high school kids to do, and two thirds of the magazine went to the scrap heap.
But the ads in the back were also a blast, remember the one about "buy you own personal Polaris Submarine" .. it was a cardboard sub for kids to play in.

 Interesting - I don't see a way to include an image in a reply like this except for a 'member photo' ... which asks for the member's alt user name, so it's limited to profile photos it seems.

You could put the photo in your own blog and then add the link to your blog or that post in a reply, but that's not the same thing ...
