What a beautiful course...

pac played yesterday. Was welcomed immediately by a staff member who loaded my clubs on the cart...

Had the course to myself for the first 8 holes which was quite surprising... The weather was cloudy, breezy, and just perfect for the majority of the afternoon.. A links style course with lot's of up and down walking that is being felt today...

Joined up with a couple of other single players. And the three of us finished playing a good round of golf... The sun just coming out the last few holes as the pics show.

pac does love playing golf!!

Nice scenery & a nice day for it ......... so much better than games of my youth when my dad used to insist on playing even when snowing - yes you can get orange golf balls, and no it makes no difference as you still can't find them !!

Well... I draw the line on snowing golf davina...
Tried to play after a hail storm once and that didn't work either,
Don't mind the cold brisk air though.. As a golfer I have lots of layers to wear..

Thanks for your comments..

Looks like some courses down here in FL, except for the mountains in the background of course!

pac369 replies on 9/24/2021 2:19 pm:
Ahhh.. The mountains in the background make for such a nice pic... But you do have water and other things that Az doesn't have.. I guess it evens out..

Thanks for your thoughts...

What I like best about desert summer sweat golf, is that the courses are very much empty. Hope the attached pic opens for you. Danzante Bay, Loreto, Baja. It's a TPC course. One of the best courses I've ever played. But then again, as tiger once said, 'never played a course I didn't like'.

Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks so much for sharing it..

Pac, have you ever played We-Ko-Pa in Scottsdale? I hear it's very scenic. I was suppose to play there earlier this year, but needed to cancel.
Are you subscribed to UnderPar ?

pac369 replies on 9/24/2021 6:32 pm:
I have played We-Ko-Pa SD.. It was many years ago when I had first started playing. I remember I swung at a ball, missed, lost my balance and fell on my ass... My ex laughing his ass off at me!

It's still a resort course and quite scenic.. I am sure you would enjoy it.. I am not subscribed to Under Par. Actually, have never heard of it..

How about USA in Wisconsin today...

Puts my lawn to shame..lol

It had a few rough areas here and there... But it's in great shape for a city course..

Glad you liked the pics..

What course did you play? I've played many in Tucson over the years- La Paloma, Ventana Canyon, Dove Valley, Starr Pass, Arizona National, Preserve @ Saddlebrooke, Sewailo, The Gallery, Saddlebrooke Ranch.

pac369 replies on 9/24/2021 7:36 pm:
Ohhh jeez... I haven't played any of those courses...

That was a city course.. Seems like the best one I have played so far... The Randolph Golf Complex, Dell Urich course.. Pretty nice for a city course..
I doubt I can afford the courses you played at...
