Saturday Divisional round tidbits

Cincinnati @ Tennessee

Is the only divisional round match up that has not been played earlier in the season. Cincinnati has been playing lights out the last few weeks. While Mixon will have some success running the ball. Would be surprised if he takes the game over. Burrow will have t o win this game on his arm. We all know the crazy connection he has with Chase that started in college. Where they absolutely crush those long deep passes and catches. But one playoff win doesn't convince me about Burrows. Living and dying on those deep throws, plus being on the road, with crowd noise against you. Gives pac reason t o pause on Cincinnati.

Henry is the main topic for Tennessee as he is returning from his lengthy foot injury. According to the sports shows he should be very close to full strength. Tennessee is the bland team that practically no one wants t o talk about. Let's not forget they are the number one seed in the AFC. Henry's return opens up that offense for Tannehill. Who has experience being in big games like this. And has a top ten receiver in Brown. Cincinnati will have a difficult time stopping that Henry train. pac thinks the home team will find a way!

San Franciso @ Green Bay

Garoppola has never thrown a pass in weather over forty degrees. The expected weather at kick off is twelve degrees. He is recovering from a thumb injury, and he hurt his shoulder in last week's Dallas game. SF is on a short week after it's Sunday game. And has traveled six weeks out of the last eight weeks. Bosa is returning from concussion protocol. SF doesn't need t o rely on Garoppola to win this game. Everyone, including GB, knows SF wants to run the ball. Mitchell has been running well, and Samuel adds a twist for that run game. Where he runs around the edge picking up first downs and extra yardage. This is all well and good if the game stays close. If GB takes a fast lead or continues t o lead. That's where the trouble could start for Garoppola and SF.

Rodgers is 0-3 against SF in the playoffs. Just being clear we have heard that enough this week! GB has key defensive players returning for this game. And should be well rested. Especially Rodgers toe. Adams has torched SF in his last five games against them. And Rodgers will certainly look to exploit that. But let's not forget about GB's RB duo of Jones and Dillon. Many times, Dillon doesn't get the same love as Jones. Though he has been compared to Henry's running style. Rodgers loves playing with that chip on his shoulder. And if GB can't beat a road weary team tonight, then when could they beat them? pac sees GB getting over this hump...

Enjoy the games!!

I like TENN-4 and GB-6 here. I'm debating a 6 pt. teaser. Take Cinn +10 with GB pk. Starting Divisional games I like considering teasers because the lines are so right, fewer blowouts.

I'm shy of overs but I just can't help thinking Titans Bengals over 47 1/2.

Good luck.

Pac,

Maryland has dragged their feet implementing online sports betting which was approved by referendum vote in the 2020 election. At present, I need to cross state lines into Virginia which is only 20 minutes from me to place an online bet on my phone. It should be up and running in Maryland soon. I believe our 6 casinos have just opened sportsbooks.

I looked up Arizona and you presently have online sports betting. You should be able to place a bet right now on DraftKings, MGM, and others. Join them all and shop lines as well as new member promo bets before you actually bet among the providers. Good luck with the Packers.

Ok gry...

Yes.. Az just started online betting at the
beginning of the football season.
I did what you suggested for a few books.
But I just haven't had any success with my picks.

Tried that stat hero. And have had a bit of success with them. Because it's a different concept. But you "always" have to pay a bit of juice no matter what, based on their game style.

Gotta go with the home teams, especially in frigid GB.

With the weather like it was, all I kept thinking was to bet the under. Especially for the first half. But did I, …no. As far as a winner goes, I decided to stay away from that game. I saw it as a coin toss…, who ever has the ball at the end of the game will win.

Seems like you had it figured out right SD!
Thanks for your thoughts...

Looks like it was underdog Saturday. Sorry your PAC didn't win. Was cheering for them too as they surely would have taken out Tampa. Bills should be underdogs in KC but not by a lot. Very hard game to call as both teams have improved since they met early in the year. As a Bills fan, this is a toss up. If the Bills win Buffalo gets to host the AFC championship game. It's snowing a cold right now. I was hoping Cinci could surprise Tennessee. Great game and quite tough. They'll need extra day's rest.

Thanks lemon!

The stakes really increased with Cincy winning that game yesterday... And I agree it's a very hard game to call...

But I do wish you luck!
