My Rodgers rant...

pac cannot be quiet anymore about Aaron. The party is over as far as she is concerned. Aaron being so miserable in Green Bay, you know...

Where he has held this organization hostage for over a year now. This unique fan owned franchise. That exhibits family based values and abhors scandals. Green Bay doesn't even have permanent cheerleaders to this day. And pac will speculate a lot has t o do with the over sexualization of today's cheerleaders.

Aaron has continually acted like a victim who has been wronged the last two seasons. All because GB made the mistake of drafting J. Love without telling him. Which GB has paid for many times over now.

So... Aaron now buys land on the outskirts of Nashville, and starts building a house. Leaking t o the press he's open t o playing for Tennessee. HUH? Something's not right with that...

But Aaron being Aaron... Would just say shit like this and get the press all worked up...

What a mistake t o give this man another MVP. pac will admit his play was stellar after week one. Until... he got covid, flat out lied about his vaccine status, flaunted all NFL protocols, and missed ten days of playing. The drama was front and center for days as it happened.

For three years in a row Aaron has gotten GB t o the playoffs. Last year the NFC Championship game. Then... it's like he turns into a pumpkin. After our lose this year Aaron was quick t o call out every one's play but his. The way he sauntered off the field after the game was just rude.

Now GB is 44 million over the salary cap. With a QB who would never consider a pay cut. Or taking one for the team. pac has fully prepared herself for Aaron leaving GB. His pompous, smug, arrogant attitude will thankfully go with him!

At least the dude gets the team to the playoffs and can actually count on him (for the most part) to be able to put the team on his back and win (most of the time). My rant is Jimmy G being surrounded with a lot of weapons and a stellar defense. I will say that Garoppolo has been a pro about the Trey Lance thing and hasn't sulked abut publicly. Can he come and play for the Niners? Please?

pac369 replies on 2/5/2022 9:18 am:
If it was my choice yeah...
Jimmy G did not play that bad in your post season.
And the LA game to get in the post season.

Yeah though... he will never be a stud. But Aaron's record is pretty dismal in the playoffs. And it was broken down by Skip Bayless on Undisputed. His leagacy will be tarnished if he can't win another Super Bowl...

Hmm Aaron has done a great job for GB he deserves better players weapons OL to protect his ass & TE/WRs to throw to & RB to take pressure off him...you don’t have all that anymore like you did few yrs back!
He doesn’t want to go thru a rebuild he’s been doing that past couple of yrs there & takin a beating...you can’t blame him for that!
Sports are a business ytf take a pay cut w the kinda $$$ they pay you & you know you can make more for another team?!
He’s at the end of his career he wants & deserves a better team who will get him to SB...like LAR & Stafford have done!
despite all the drama he had a great run w GB but it’s time for him to move on clearly there’s been a breakdown w him the front office or coaches w bad blood & that doesn’t make for good locker room chemistry!
at least your team made playoffs & are relevant...my team is in total disarray w a shit owner in Danny boy Synder has destroyed a once a great championship proud franchise turned it into a perennial loser cellar dweller & now we have a stupid fukn name w new the team colors...l am NOT HAPPY w any this!!!

I hear you bdsm. And you can't succeed throughout the whole season with the players you have. Then piss and moan in the playoffs that you need help. Aaron refused to give his teammates the ball in our last game because of one fumble. Football is a team sport. Where you cannot force the ball to 1 WR and 1 RB...

But I do agree it's time for him to move on. Maybe he will have better luck somewhere else? Though that remains to be seen...

Yeah... sorta stupid name for Washington...

Pac,

Yeah, he's a great QB but does seem a little too proud of himself. Football is totally a team sport and you think he'd be MVP without Davante Adams? His smugness just annoys me.

Another commenter is right about one thing. Washington couldn't have picked a worse name.

pac369 replies on 2/5/2022 9:31 am:
I agree gry...

Aaron has been a great QB. Until... he got so full of himself! There is a reason Brady is and will probably always be the goat!

Yeah... I do not like Washingtons name either. Maybe... they should have just left it as it was?

He isn't the first star player who's worn out his welcome in the city that made him famous. If he won't play for GB, well, that's that.
Fact is, though, is that elite QB play is hard to come by. GB was lucky to be able to transition from Favre to Rodgers without having to go through the dark period that most teams experience when their HOF QB retires or runs out of gas. NE is having to learn how to live w/our Brady, just as NO is having to learn to live without Brees. I don't know if GB has a successor in mind, but for your sake, I hope he's talented.

pac369 replies on 2/5/2022 6:55 pm:
Very true RB...

But I did remember the bleak and dark period before Favre. And I know it's going to suck. Especially because I don't think Love is the answer...

NE should progress big time next year. But NO could have more issues than GB does...

Gor, a man in the USA once tried to explain the rules to me. He started with "Fundamentally it is a non-contact sport" and stopped because I was laughing so hard.

I find it difficult to take seriously when it is organised around commercial television breaks and has timeouts instead of two continuous halves, like a rugby game, which is played without armour, of course.

I will now duck to avoid flack from Pac lol!

pac369 replies on 2/5/2022 7:00 pm:
No worries rope!

I can't expect you to understand our crazy rules. That we have watched change every year for the last 30 years.
Your rugby and our football will never mesh...

Being in Australia, I miss all this ( except from you )
