Top Golf... Is where pac was yesterday. With her new sub gal pal. How nice t o interact with a sub who understands exactly what you're going through! After a couple of burgers, we rented our bay and started hitting balls. Playing a game like bowling. Where you hit ten balls in a row and get specific numbers when your ball lands in different sections of the net. Each ball comes out of a machine and has some sort of sensor inside of it... So... you hit the ball, then look at the screen t o see how you did. With the machine saying things like "pat yourself on the back", "it's ok t o go for red", or pacs favorite was "your sneaky good"! My friend had never hit a golf ball before. pac showed her how t o hold the club. And she was hitting the ball quite well after that. It really is fun once you start playing. Regardless, if you are a golfer. And why it's so popular. Three floors of hitting bays that can be utilized in any weather conditions. Cha Ching! A bit pricey for two people is the worst thing about it. Another couple would have made the rate really cheap. And dealing with who don't give explicit instructions can be frustrating. Next time she might just ride along with pac while she plays a round of golf. Where she can really appreciate the wonderful world of golf!    ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. I miss playing golf. The days of walking 36 holes are gone. It's the one thing CFS makes me miss most.

I enjoy Topgolf but it is not a replacement for the real thing. Fun though. Glad you have someone local to commiserate with. Maybe she will give the links a try in the future.

Know nothing about golf nor that I ever had a chance to play or watch anywhere near... but enjoy reading your golf blogs and seeing your beautiful pictures... I admire your passion for golf, Pac

I like to watch golf on the television. As far as playing goes I will stick to miniature golf.

I’ve never been to one. In the off season I could see going, but it’s just so darn expensive. For that price I could get one of those giant buckets of balls and hit the range for 1/2 a day of structured practice. Or for that price I could get 18 w/cart at a dog track and enjoy the whole afternoon. I realize TG is not really geared towards “golfers”. It’s more an entertainment gig. Makes sense during the off-season if you just want to keep your swing, but I couldn’t see going during the regular season. Fortunately for you pac, there is no off season down there. 🙂

This turtle keeps reminding me of BLADE RUNNER. Do you remember the scene I am talking about? "If you see an upside-down turtle in the desert what would you do?" And then the guy asks, "What's a turtle?"
