Hope your happy Aaron! So... In case you didn't follow the news yesterday... Green Bay traded Davante Adams t o the Las Vegas Raiders. Not only was he GB's top receiver, arguably many thought he was the best WR in the league! There is consequences for actions in football and life! Aaron wanted t o be the highest paid player in football. With a "don't give a fuck about anyone else" attitude! Ok... you got it. Does it make GB better as a team? Ohhh hell no! We have gone from a contender t o a pretender in my eyes. The analysts have all said GB matched Las Vegas offers t o Davante. But they didn't fight for him. Sounds familiar t o pac in life and the lifestyle... Davante seems like the winner in this deal. Making a 150 million, getting out of small town GB and the brutal weather. And don't forget. Not having t o pay state income taxes! Not only that Davante and Derek Carr are former college players who had massive success at Fresno State. And are actual friends. Not just on the field football friends. pac has nothing but love for Davante and totally sees why he wanted to leave the Aaron drama!  ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. There are reasons why Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), Shaq, Wayne Gretzgy, LeBron and others left their small-town teams for The Big City, even when the money on the table was the same. They saw themselves as Larger Than Life and needed to validate their stardom on the Big Stage. Davante Adams may have that same desire....a bigger market, more flash, more celebrity, more endorsements. Pac, as a GB fan, you are far better to know about this and what motivates him. As you also pointed out, there is a monetary factor involved - at the income level of an NFL star player or golf pro, the absence of a state income tax is literally worth millions. It's no surprise that so many athletes have their domiciles in Nevada or Florida.

Pac, It brings up the old question as to whether the QB makes the WR or the WR makes the QB. Carr and Adams should succeed like Joe Burrow and Ja Mar Chase.

Sorry for your loss, pac. We'll see how good Rogers is now. Brady made do for years without a top down field threat.

Not surprised by Adams but I am surprised that Green Bay didn't try harder. Then again, they had to make moves to clear cap space. Rodgers has made it clear, no interest in another Super Bowl but his pockets.

Pac, as a GB fan from afar, I find Rogers antics rather disappointing. I would have thought that at his stage of life he would have thought about going out as a winner (Super Bowl) more important than the dollars for himself, but then again, after his Covid shit fight situation, I can see that he is the most important thing in his life, and that to me, is one very selfish way to be. I will stick with the Packers, but my heart won't quite be in it until GB shows thy have a settled team for the future. I thank you for giving this distant fan perspective on our football team.

paying Rodgers $150/Mil means they have to let go of others to stay under cap...lots of good WR to draft next month for cheaper! Daa Raiders will be better for sure! meanwhile my team changed its name it’s colors & signed injured prone QB Carson Wentz who’s best is gone & far behind him now! Synder needs to sell the team he’s a meddling idiot wannabe joke of an owner took a proud feared championship team turned us into mediocre cellar dwellers!

Rodgers appears to be satisfied with the one ring as his legacy. He'll continue to be competitive but there won't be too many A-Listers eager to sign on to the Packers because there isn't any $$ for them. Throughout this saga, the forgotten person has been Jordan Love. Will he be shipped out?
