My pain mindset... pac would not classify herself as a masochist or pain slut. But... when you have tattoos your able t o process a significant amount of pain... The inside of the arm is extremely painful when being tattooed there. pac has hours of work under each arm... This is what she wonders about? If you know before hand that the pain is coming, is it easier t o process? pac would never take ibuprofen or tylenol before her appointments. And the first minutes of the needle were almost excruciating pain. Where it takes every ounce of energy not t o move. Just absorb the pain. Then finally the endorphins kick in. And the pain becomes bearable. Sometimes even pleasurable as more endorphins flood your system. pac always prided herself on not moving or fidgeting, which always amazed her tattoo artist. He would continually ask if she was ok? As his sessions were scheduled for three or four hours... But about thirty minutes after the appointment. She was at a bar/restaurant eating, having a cocktail, and taking ibuprofen. As the pain would stay with her for hours after that... pac has not really experienced hard core bdsm pain. Though she has been restrained, spanked and flogged. Is there a correlation between the tattoo and whipping pain? Because it seems like pain no matter how it happens is processed the same? For me, Pain is relative. I've lived with pain most of my life. Back pain, pain for sports injuries, etc. It's all what you become accustomed to. Sudden pain (first needle jab) gets your attention, ongoing pain (long tattooing) becomes a companion. After math pain is an annoyance.

Although I cannot contribute to the question at hand, I must say that your arm tattoo is very pretty. PS: That birching in photo 2 is gonna leave a mark...and already has, by the look of things.

I have a fairly nice size tattoo behind my right shoulder and I can definitely relate. First of all it's the sound that gets into your head and I know when they got close to the armpit area I could really feel it. By the third hour I know sweat was pouring off my forehead but I'm not so sure it was because of the pain

I guess I am the opposite of masochist. I HATE needles, always have. Just take them when it is a matter of health. BUT, I do enjoy using them on my submissive. She handles them very well in tits and labia. I think she had lots of allergy shots when she was a kid that lasted for months. She thinks that is why she can take that kind of pain. She complains more about whippings. To each his/her own I guess. You are a very brave girl in my book.

pac I agree that every pain is different! Dental or surgical pain is unpleasant but pain from a spanking etc is delightful (to a level )  A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw Jenny

well those are tender areas to be inked Pac curious were you aroused thou?! all l know is that Pain is Pain & can lead to great pleasure!
