Tiger's back?

After yesterday's round it would appear so!

Once more the crowds were massive, and a pin could have dropped when Tiger hit off the first tee yesterday morning! Though he has a slight distinct limp now, and he doesn't bend t o low when eyeing his putt. His pain was written on his face for all t o see. He was quoted as saying " I can hit just fine", "It's the walking part that's hard"...

pac watched his round yesterday in featured group coverage, with no fucking commercials! And it really was something t o see...

Tiger was a bit off yesterday. No surprise after no competitive golf for so many months. But his irons and short game bailed him out time and time again. Not t o mention his putting. Late in the round as one of his putts rolled off the putting green the microphone picked up Tiger telling his ball t o "fuck off"! What golfer hasn't been there?

pac was not a golf watcher or player in Tiger's heyday. Of course she knew who he was. But his significance t o the sport was lost on her then...

Seeing him win the Master's a few years ago was one of the best rounds of golf she had ever seen. The extraordinary crowds losing their minds, clapping, yelling and whistling. Then Tiger walking off the 18th green holding his was a sight pac will never forget!

Yesterday though... was a credit t o a man battling his demons. And how hell or high water he will prevail over his surgically repaired body! pac had the utmost respect for him after his round yesterday. Like millions of other people she hopes he can push past the pain, overcome the forecasted afternoon winds, and make the cut. To play this weekend...

~ FYI~ For the betters out there... pac made over $100 yesterday. And is parlaying most of that in new bets today!

I do love Tiger. I have watched him since he first played on tour. I remember the best I ever saw was this shot in 2005: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJEysanOT7w

I don't care about his personal life. Is he back to the game? I have not watched any media lately. The game needs him. Thinking about it, maybe we do need fallen heroes who return to show us the better stuff we are made of.

I don't care about his personal life either rider.
Yes... he played yesterday. Shot a 1 under.
You are really tuned out of media if you did not know that...

I watched a lot of it on live streaming too, and he looked really good for not playing tournament golf for so long.
Do I want him to win, yes, but it might be a long shot.
It will be interesting what the winds do this afternoon.

I agree TM!
His play really surprised me...
The crowd adoration... Not so much!
If anybody can figure out Augusta in the wind; it's probably Tiger!

I just can't watch golf anymore, not since I had to stop playing. Watching makes me miss playing.
pac, I do hope you are getting better and will be back playing too, soon

Ahhh sorry to hear that Ron!

I am recovering well and should be able to
play in another 3 weeks...

A different Tiger showed up this morning, 4 over after 5, hope it gets better.

Yes TM it was a horrible start!
But damn... he took that sweater off
and turned his whole round around...
Making the cut makes Augusta very happy!

today I was able to watch lil of it at work
Ehh +2 today at +1 for tournament l think he was sore l hope he bounces back tomorrow & the pressure makes the leaders falter
I believe if on Sunday he’s w in 4-5 he will WILL himself to play good & contend!
regardless of his outcome it’s amazing what he’s done made the cut (no competitive golf in over a yr after almost losing his leg has a rod & screws implanted!) hopefully by the next major he’ll be in better shape
J Spieth F Couples VJ Sing Schauffle DeChambeau all didn’t make the cut!
IF Tiger doesn’t win I’d l Iike to see D Johnson or S Scheffler (he’s been on fire past few weeks!) win it!
enjoy Pac!

pac369 replies on 4/8/2022 5:10 pm:
I totally agree with you bdsm!
Tiger making the cut today still
demanded some stellar play from him...

And I am also riding the Scottie Scheffler
train in all my bets!!

pac

Well done on your winnings!

I haven't seen any of the Masters and really appreciate the update!

Yes! Tiger has had his highs and lows but , I agree, most would wish him every success now! He sure is a battler!
