A dungeon update... In my blog on Sunday pac discusses her first play party trip. And how the highlight was her conversation with the long time member. Last night pac received a personal message from him. Saying it was a pleasure t o talk with her at the party. And how every party is different. He also invited her t o a munch on the 16th, with a different organization, that him and his slave are attending. If nothing else. It made pac feel proud of herself for making a good impression! ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

Well Pac, if nothing else, you did make an impression, unfortunately I wasn't there, so I can not say whether it was good or bad. It did however create an opportunity for you to gain further information about the community in that area, and hopefully, after attending the munch and meeting others, you will gain even more and possibly making further connections which I hope are fruitful in helping you to find play partners.

I too find it hard to believe you would convey anything but a good first impression, given your intelligence, your way with words and your personality. That outfit was also striking (no pun intended). That said, we can't be all things to all people. Once, I went to meet a blind date at a cafe. "Are you Paula?" I asked. "Are you Robert?" "Yes." "I'm not Paula."

You should laugh, pac. That's an old Rodney Dangerfield ("I don't get no respect") joke. I only steal from the best. This is not to say that I didn't have my share of Bad Dates. If we ever get to chat sometime, I've got some good stories. RB
