Survivor Pool... For those who don't know golf's third major has been going on this weekend. The big names missing the cut, Phil imploding, and Liv golf have dominated the headlines. Taking away from the tournament itself. Which is why pac hasn't blogged about it... But... she did try a different sports betting strategy this week. For a onetime $25 bet. She has progressed from round one to four. By just betting against the house. And matching two of their players every round. And enjoying as more players got eliminated after each round. She won .08 cents the first round, $11 the second round, and $50.05 after yesterday's third round... Even if she doesn't win any money today. Her performance this weekend has confirmed her knowledge of golf is right up there with most betters. Which gives her confidence for other tournaments. And especially The Open happening next month... pac does like her chances today! ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

I'm Italian decent... generally, Italians like to Not use a stick to put a ball in a hole - - they use the stick - in the hole... (I gave you a private way to contact me in another recent blog entry. I guess you're not interested. I do not chat in these rooms or groups - just trying to connect in them.) Tons of golf in my area. Not my thing. Enjoy.

Glad you're enjoying the wagering part of the game and it sounds like you're up on the tally. Phil did implode, DJ isn't doing to badly, Bryson did make the weekend, not sure about other LIV golfers. I am tired of the subject and comments on LIV, those that went there, had their reasons and hopefully they aren't completely lost to the tour. I think it would be great if Fitzpatrick could win, winning the Amateur and US Open at the same course would be amazing. Seems everyone likes the course, which is unusual, it's the conditions, and today will be interesting, watched it live a few hrs ago before play began, and it was raining, and going to be cool and windy, should be interesting.

Congratulations! I was a casino and Golf course gambler. Nassau and press. Used to clean my dad out on the 18th hole with presses because he wanted to prove to me pressing was a bad bet.  If the PGA commish hadn't banned any players, there wouldn't have been nearly the press stories about LIV. He handed them free press and stirred the controversy. Should have at least waited until after this weekend, IMO.

Well, the LIV players did get some good news yesterday. The world golf tour did not join the PGA in banning the players who joined LIV. Considering the bonuses of 100 mill and more and now with access to tons of World Tour events, the decision to join LIV makes some sense. I agree with Rondiri, PGA should've held their hand a little longer. However, my original feeling about LIV was with Rory, the whole issue reminded me of Rodgers and Covid.
