Pet Peeve No talk of Mistress's, whips, spankings or the like today. I just have to rant about my pet peeve. Now, I'm a fairly well educated woman watches The Discovery channel, The Learning channel, National Geographic and the like but I'll be damned if I can get that first tissue out of a new box of Kleenex without tearing it. How can something so simple be so hard. I cajole, I try remove one at a snails pace and put the box in a death grip with one hand but, alas, that first tissue comes out in pieces. I think next time I'll just cut the top off and see how that goes.  |

I have noticed the same problem. Even finding where the edge of that first tissue is can be problematic.

Yeah.. I have never figured out that first tissue either? Like you, mine is also a mess.. ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~

It is as bad as trying to get that first piece of pie out without it falling all over the place....

Consider the other end for that box. You have 10 to 20 wipes remaining and the tissues no longer pull out one at a time. In fact, after one is pulled the next falls back to the bottom. No matter what you do, you cannot pick just the first tissue to start the process again. In frustration, you pull the entire top of the box off so you can gain access. At last you can pull one out but you have an ugly torn box to contend with. Ah beauty, how quickly you fade. The blackest lie is a partial truth that leads you to the wrong conclusion.

It's easy. All you have to do is figure out how to get the carmilk into the caramilk bar.

Don't cut the whole top off ... Cut three sides, leaving one side as a 'hinge'. Rotate the top up, thread the first kleenex through the slot in the top, rotate the top down to its original position, and tape it closed. Ta-da !!!

Things are different but try this, push down on the stack with two fingers then pinch the top sheet with the free hand. This releases the pressure on the entire top to the two finger spots and allowing a pinch. Then keep manipulating. There are alot of similar packages with similar issues that have a solution that is not obvious. Sometimes the regional sales guy has been shown a way to do it right. __MAILBOX for comments here__
