Take a walk with me! I know I've mentioned walking a few times a week and it has been so windy I've been walking through my neighborhood. When this area was developed, they did not destroy all the foliage and trees, they built around it. I watched it being developed and bought here as soon as my pocketbook would allow. Yes, I'm only 500 yds from the ocean but in a lovely oasis. Below are a few of the sights I saw when walking yesterday.   |

Ah.... i love Melbourne.... favourite city..... but where is that neighbourhood.... am familar most with Preston and Kew.... which I know its not.... but it does look familiar...

Those tail feathers look fabulous. It must be hard to get inside before getting them caught in the automatic door.

All I get are pigeons, sparrows, crows and the occasional robin or cardinal. The landlord loves birds and put's out seed by the bucketful. Of course that draws a family of mice and that draws the neighborhood cats to stalk the mice. The circle of life.  A shame the peacocks didn't fan their tails for you, but they are still beautiful. Very nice area you live in.

Oh yes, the pocketbooks could get very noisy. Amazing to see them fly. Mainly from the roof to the yard!
