It was fun It is always so much fun being around my "stepsisters". There is plenty of gossip, lots of picking on each other, and an abundance of sisterhood. My own sister lives in the Northern part of the US but, to be honest, we were never very close. She is younger than I and I was and out of the house when she was in her mid-. Let's just say she and I have different philosophies on life. Anyway, the word family can have so many meanings and I can say I have a great FL family. How about some food porn? My shrimp scampi I had for lunch.  |

It is, unfortunately, something familiar to me... as I have had the most distant relationships with my late brother and still my mother. Blood means nothing. It is about something completely different. And having that closeness with your as you said "stepsisters" is a precious gift you have been rewarded with, HJ.
