The ties that bind? Thoughts on rope versus chain.

I am looking for a petite submissive who craves finding herself helpless, vulnerable, and exposed to a strong dominating male; that would be me if the chemistry is right. I have a strong background in using rope to secure things, having worked as a commercial diver for 13 years. I am in the process of integrating that background with Shibari, especially since the background of Shibari lies in traditional Japanese martial arts, and I am a practicing black belt in Shotokan. Nevertheless, I am especially fond of using leather and steel to secure my submissive; it is more along the lines of shock and awe. It is different than looking down and seeing a scarf or a thin rope binding your wrists together, perhaps she can twist and wriggle her way free.
