Good morning sexy girl. Welcome to blogs. Congratulations on getting this far  A blog can have one or more posts - this is your first, and only, one so far. Some people make separate posts to talk about different topics: Like different threads of conversation. Blog posts are public by default. Anyone can read them, including Google. If you search for things you, or anyone, has written in a post it will show up in search results. So be careful what you write! I don't know if there is any way to prevent search engines from indexing them. I am trying to find out. I'm sure someone on here already knows Each post has its own settings that control how it works. These are: Who can view this post - anyone, ALT members, just friends. This might help with it being visible to the world. Who can comment on this post - anyone on ALT, friends only, nobody. This can be useful if you want to write something to share with people but you don't want replies. It's just a one way thing; here you are people, this is what I have to say on some topic and that's it. I want to pre-review.. - nothing, all responses, all non-friend posts. If you allow replies at all, you have the choice of reviewing them first. They only appear if you approve them. If you choose "all responses" then only you can see them to start with. This can be useful as a kind of drop box. A way to invite people to share things privately with you, like other kinds of contact details perhaps?  From the Blogs home page you can search to see if anyone has yet started a blog, using their handle. Search for mine using "jyahld". I hope that's useful. You've started the process... The trick is to add stuff that interests you or you want to discuss. This could be anything - from politics to past experiences, hopes and dreams, the thing is to make it interesting and thought through so it represents something of yur personality and character. Don't be under pressure to produce something every day or even every week - it's your blog, your rules.
