The Rule of Law Trump was the first presidential candidate in decades to refuse to release his tax returns. Democrats initially asked for the returns in 2019 under a federal law granting certain congressional committees any private tax information they formally request from the IRS. The Trump administration defied the request. A federal court ruled Tuesday that trumps tax returns must be provided to investigating Democratic committees. The Mar-A-Lago raid followed. Every President takes office knowing that he will be subject to the same laws as all other citizens upon leaving office but not every former president believes in the rule of law or that it actually applies to them. |

Ahhh, but Trump thinks he IS above the law. Company going under, file bankruptcy and screw everyone. Need legal fees? Ask followers for donations even though you are a billionaire. Take every famous huckster in history and Trump is them all rolled up into one obnoxious man whose only thought is making money for himself at everyone else's expense.

The best part about the search of Mar A Lago is that if Trump is charged and convicted of abusing/stealing classified documents he will not be able to run for office any more. This case is bigger than it seems.
