Trump VP: The insurance policy for 2024 Victory

I think there are a lot of traps for a Trump VP pick. Trump needs to just remember that a VP pick is not about who you like personally, but the VP pick is about electoral votes. I love the electoral college. Clinton and Gore do too.

With that said, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin are the states in play. They decide the election in 2024. Everyone else will just offset each other.

Therefore, keep the VP pick as close to the midwest as possible. Tim Scott, Nikki Haley, and everyone else in the field is just too far away from the midwest. They will not relate to Wisconsin and Michigan at all.

I do not love any picks right now, but Kristi Noem is the price is right pick for now. She is the closest without going over. Plus, the added bonus is that the left wing backlash from California and New York would be enormous. Why not have a little fun while you are winning too.

Hmmm.... other votes are worth more than yours or mine? That's a violation of the 14th. Dont worry, SCOTUS will fix that! The electoral college was a race and class establish entity. The rable (Hamilton's words) got the house (white and male only of course). The states got the senate. The landed-gentry (white and male and rich of course) got the President. The electoral college guaranteed that the landed gentry kept the president. It is an anachronism. It doesn't reflect the will of the people. Especially since the people now vote for president.

So, you are just on the wrong side. You support racism and hate the poor, well, except for the white poor as poll taxes were relaxed for them cause they were white.

Unfortunately, SCOTUS is 6 to 3 with 3 Trump appointed judges. They will rule on his side and the 14th doesn't include the POTUS and VPOTUS offices. Sad really that SCOTUS has become a political arm. Sounds like we need 4 more justices appointed by Biden/Schumacher.

the 14th doesn't include the POTUS and VPOTUS offices.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment essentially
disqualifies from office anyone who engaged
in "insurrection or rebellion" against the U.S.

SCOTUS ruled against trump in every election
case that was put before them. Section 3 is
most significant because it does not require
that the person be convicted of "insurrection"
only that they engaged in the attempt. There
were approx. 600 insurrectionists convicted by
DOJ and most are set to testify that they believed
trump directed them to storm the capitol and to
hang the vice president.

Noem would have been a great pick until a few weeks ago when it came out that she was having an affair. A long standing one at that. Trump may be able to get away with that but not noem. She can deny it all she wants but the damage will run all the way through the election. Do as i say not as i do may have worked well in the past but it is quickly becoming tiresome. In good times people can overlook this but not when everything is in the crapper for most. noem, MTG and boebert are like the rest of the establishment. That does not bode well to the base.

Hope

Do a web search. There are very convincing arguments that the 14th amendment accidentally skips POTUS and VPOTUS.

Nobody has been convicted of insurrection - yet. Just seditious conspiracy. SCOTUS will side on trumps side.

Yes, SCOTUS voted against Trump for election cases, but those are not constitutional cases. For this case, if there is a loophole, and there is, SCOTUS will take it. Sad, but I think this is how it will go down......
