Disney: Wokeism Works, Until you lose all your Investors Money I guess Disney is finally getting it with an additional 2 Billion dollars in cost cutting measures which now total 7.5 Billion dollars. Sounds like investors got tired of having their money stolen by woke management. Losing 100 dollars a share in value will do that. Revenues are still flat though, even with the ridiculously high admission prices. That is a problem. If only Disney would have kept politics out of their brand, maybe they would not be in this mess. In the game of wokeism vs money, money wins. |

As Michael Jordan said, Republicans buy sneakers too. Disney would do well to remember that sound advice as their revenue growth remains pretty flat. Disney management believed they did not need conservatives in the Magic Kingdom. However, in reality, the opposite is true. Conservatives do not need them. Again, 100 dollars a share. Ouch. No dividend anymore either. Ouch, Ouch. Go Woke, Go Broke.

you guys will twist any news to support your “anti woke” agenda, won’t you? even fox business doesn’t report this story as you have. you have a rather myopic view of disney’s business model and seem to think it only encompasses theme parks. ever hear of ABC? ever hear of hulu? ever hear of ESPN? ever hear of streaming? ever hear of a little thing called disney+? are you aware they are spending 8.6 billion dollars to buy the third of hulu they don’t already own? disney’s streaming business is booming and on track to profitability in 2024. disney’s stock surged 4% in after hours trading based on the earnings call yesterday. what you guys seem to be missing - or are intentionally overlooking - is the company beat earnings forecasts and subscriber goals. the most common reason analysts give for declining global theme park attendance (across all theme park brands) is severe weather… hurricanes, typhoons, ash clouds, heat waves… have all affected disney. disney hasn’t suffered from its policies or by pulling out of planned projects in florida… the people of the state of florida have, however. only a putz like ron desantis would jeopardize the state’s relationship with its biggest employer and tax payer.

Hmmm..... All amusement parks are going through a bit of a slump. DW is only 10% of Disney's total revenue. Where they are losing money? Not DW but the Disney Channel. Subscriptions are no where near expectations. So they have over the last few years bought streaming companies. They made money in FY 2023. Stock up in value. Hmmmm..... data and logic not with you there. Blows your "theory" because you can't read their year end report. Don't think it has anything to do with being "woke" as you are not using that term correctly along with desantis. Being woke is not telling the government that their policies will/are hurting their employees and they will not follow those hurtful policies. Being woke is just a person understanding that there exists systematic racism in our country. A simple fact. An example: 2023, Norfolk used a red line on a map to show which neighborhoods that they are going to save from flooding. All wealthy, mostly white neighborhoods. The poor, mostly black neighborhoods? They just flood..... In my own backyard this year there was systematic, government run, racism occurring. They got caught is the only reason we found out about it. How many don't we find out about? Is being woke a bad thing? I don't think so. Or just fuck those nig@ers, they don't count as much as other folks as a government policy. Desantis' bullshit? That's just bullshit. Being against his draconian policies is being smart, not woke, as the civil war did happen over slavery, we massacred native Americans in Florida and marched the rest out, we inturned US citizens because they were of Japanese decent......... This list can go on for 10,000s of lines. It did happen. Part of US history. Kids should know the bad with the good. Banning books? A well known strategy of 1930s Germany, Italy, and Spain. Telling people they are not what they are? None of this means you are woke. It means you're just stupid. You can't force people to be old, white, and male. Hell, a bunch of old white males do not believe this shit. What is the real impact of desantis' policies? Real estate. Houses are sitting empty because folks are leaving or just not coming. Businesses are leaving and not moving into FL. But that's what desantis wants apparently. Your wokeness theory has so many holes in it, it's not even funny. And FL is sinking because of it. That's the sad part. And you are defending that behavior. Yeah, you're white and male, but you're not old. Yet, you've swallowed the faux noise and wannabe autocrate's lies without question (to include data and logic). That's ultimately the saddest part of your story.

The real problem desantis has with disney is about the height requirement to ride the rides . . It seems desantis isn't tall enough to ride the big boy rides.

i think it is funny that this is your take. It is "wokeism". You want to know why i am not going to Florida this year? The new gun law that passed last year for a start. A crazy governor who is going after the states biggest tax provider and employer. Safety. i have friends who just went to the park. They go every year. They said it was slightly less busy. Still lines forever though. It may be a good time to buy Disney shares. That is what the wealthy and smart investors do. desantis made this a big deal. Not Disney. For your florida troll buddies, why don't you look up the number of companies not going to florida on a whole because of the governor. That is their biggest concern. Hope
