bad doms vs good doms: what the good ones know blog to follow in first comment |

Something that i try to remember about my BDSM journey: what is a limit now (or a limit with a particular person) may change over months and years. For myself: i have to honor my current limits and parameters, because not trusting yourself is just a fool's gambit. So, it is a balance of honoring my current limits, stretching my limits when the time is right, and evolving again when the time is right. i have found if a Dominant wants to rush or force this process, we are not a good match. i need to go at my own pace, and only if i eventually feel comfortable with him. Sadly, there are more "bad doms" than good ones so the good ones know it all takes patience.

A good Dom must know how to read his sub. Every person gives off signals and reading those signals does take practice. I like to train my subs/slaves to be pain whores, a woman who can be brought to a sexual climax from just pain. Thia takes time and reading my slave allows me to tailor her training so that she learns without doing any real physical harm to her. A good slave is hard to find and keeping her is just as hard.

A good Dominant for me Doesnt have to be skilled Or be Mr or Ms Gray Then just have to care and have a real passion for the lifestyle

A really good dom knows how to cook, and enjoys cooking. I like doing all the cooking. When I cook I always know Im going to be eating something I like. She can be the desert.
