Never tried it before, can't think of music I would play.

Definitely no. If a sub only manages to utter a safe word at low volume, I want to hear it.

All you need is the purple rain soundtrack

i enjoy having background music on and since i enjoy almost all genres, i will play whatever He wants. Now that i am older, i do have to be careful though because i tend to bob my head (while sucking cock) to the beat and if it is too fast i tire quickly.

My "gurl name" is Kate Coxuker. It is who i am and what i do.

No music, I want to hear her moans and whimpers clearly.

Music can be important for setting a mood, but it needs to be mutually agreed before in my view.
Like no_unicorn has said the beat can enhance the experience, you could try NiN or KMFDM...give it a try what is there to lose?

Music during scene play Adds to the experience for me and pet, as we are both into our music and he came to our first meet with a 'just in case' playlist - we used mine though.

Also on a practical level, it disguises noises that might disturb the neighbours.
