And to the 6 Republican Justices? I wonder if they will pay the childcare costs of even ONE unwanted baby. JUST ONE. NAH, let the welfare system take care of that. Just raise the state taxes to cover it. The churches that pushed for the repeal won't care, THEY DON'T PAY TAXES I wonder where the female vote will go come November? Let's hope they get out and vote! And if the post isn't to your liking. Well..... Go read someone's post you do like. |

This country needs a miracle to stay in one piece. The USSR fell, who says America can't tear itself apart?

And NO, I'm not pro abortion. I'm pro women's rights

Only offended by your lack of intelligence, nothing was repealed. The constitution was restored specifically the 10th Amendment: Amendment X The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Now unless you can find me where in the constitution or any of it's Amendments that say anything about abortion, all that was done was the decisions was returned to where it always should have been which is to allow each state and THEIR people decide what is legal for taking a life of the unborn

We don't need a miracle, we need the childish "participation trophy", "free to be you and me" generations to wake up and learn what this nation is all about and what freedom really means. Democracy, as the current woke majority would implement it, is EVIL. It's MOB RULE. That does not offer freedom. The Constitution gives you the freedom to disagree with everyone and not suffer consequences. The SCOTUS did what they are SUPPOSED to do, they DID NOT CAVE to public pressure or sentiment. They looked at the LAW and the WRITTEN FRAMEWORK. You need to realize that "popular" opinions should rarely come from the SCOTUS. If "popular"/"Democratic" sentiment were the basis of this nation, we would still have slavery in some form, the whole civil rights movement would have fizzled, women would have never been granted the right to vote. Those were the "popular" opinions in their time, it was those who "opposed" the popular opinion who sparked change. If there is such an outrage about Roe v Wade being tossed, get Congress to codify it as Federal Law. Just as the SCOTUS said there is no guarantee in the Constitution for abortion, they did not say there is anything that opposes it either.

Women always had their rights and control. All they had to do was keep their legs closed and their panties up. This is not and never was about violence like the "r" word (that ALT won't let you use) or , nor do most reasonable people disagree that a difficult choice needs to be made to save someone's life (like an ectopic pregnancy situation), but using abortion as an alternative to contraception or actual responsibility is part of the sickness of our society. Actions have consequences, those who are involved in this lifestyle are even MORE aware of that. And those responsibilities nearly ALWAYS are more complex than the actions that lead up to them. Don't want to risk getting pregnant, don't have sex! We emphasize the importance of "no, means NO!!!" so there's really no reason to be afraid, is there?

are you off your meds again . . . it shows . . .

Just close your legs Just travel out of state Just don’t get r*ped Just go live somewhere else Just use contraceptive Just implant the ectopic pregnancy Just be quiet Just be invisible Just die, if god wills it There is nothing JUST about any of this

Responding to just this one part: > I wonder if they will pay the childcare costs of even ONE unwanted baby. > JUST ONE. I agree with you - that will never happen. As others have said, the Republicans support fetuses but not children. This has been proven again and again, including in their responses to shootings at schools. > NAH, let the welfare system take care of that. Just raise the state taxes to > cover it. This is also something the Republican party will never do - first, they want to dismantle the welfare system. Second, they only raise taxes to give more to their buddies or for _corporate_ welfare despite claiming to be for free markets. Oil companies, e.g., often get more money from the federal government in subsidies than they make in profit.

People on this thread are disgusting. Careless of you to post things in such a blasé manner. You’re trying to get likes it seems based on you “still think I’m an asshole…”. Well, yes, your previous posts were out of order. Keep going men, acting like it’s the women’s fault, what a r*pist mentality. Fucking disgusting. Let’s hope it happens to you so you can see what it feels like. But, luckily, you can’t get pregnant, we just have to be forced to relive a nightmare, repeatedly. But hey, it doesn’t matter if someone was r*ped, our fault for having our legs forced open. Fuck the parasites.

The ignorance runs amok in here with the OP the worst. The only thing this decision did was return the decision of abortion to the states. The released decision specifically says deals with NOTHING EXCEPT FOR ABORTION. Republicans are already having to deal with the increase in crime because of liberal policies causing the inflation and soon to be the rest of the issues we tried to warn you about, like unemployment. People need to start doing their own research and understanding of law and government. Before FDR there was the means of welfare that did not need taxes or huge inefficient government agencies, it was called churches and community based agencies that was there to take care of the poor. I am pro choice and my choice is life, however if I am not the expectant father the decision is between the woman, man and their doctor. With the exception of R*pe where I believe the man should be sentenced to 10 to 20 with his yard time being placed in stocks naked with condoms and the only lube provided being bengay or icey hot. I feel that to be a punishment to fit the crime
