I’ve been in love with bondage since my teens. From tying up the girls while playing Cowboys and Indians, to tying up the babysitter in my early teens. The one thing that I always liked seeing afterward, were the rope marks. The girls were always worried they would go away, the babysitter too, at first. Some people enjoy seeing the rope marks, others deplore them. But that reality is that unless you place something thick between the skin and the rope, you will end up with rope marks. Even with something between skin and rope, you can still get pinch marks and other marks if you are not careful and alert. Rope marks are caused by, you guessed it, rope pressing into the skin, leaving an impression of the rope’s weave. They are mostly unavoidable, as I said, but usually fade in a couple of hours. Another type of mark that can appear is petechial hemorrhaging. These look like red scratches and are cause when capillaries rupture under the skin from being caught between strands of rope. They last about a week, but like any bruise, the body absorbs the released blood and the capillary heals. Not as common, are bruises and hematomas. They are not usually dangerous and appear in areas where the most tension is caused by the bondage, especially in suspension. Bruising usually fades away in about a week also, depending on severity and physique. Some people bruise more easily than others, some heal faster than others. The last mark, and the one to avoid is rope burn. It’s caused by pulling rope too fast across the skin, causing friction between the rope and skin, often when pulling excess rope under another band of rope. This can take quite a while to heal since it is actually damaging the skin much the same way something hot damages the skin. The main thing to remember is to never yank rope quickly across skin and watch for areas the rope can get caught and grate across the skin when pulled. There are plenty of Bruise Creams and Aloe lotions that can be used to alleviate any marks or bruising. I keep both in my aftercare kit and I don’t hesitate to apply them to keep my slave’s skin soft and supple. If by chance marks or bruising get worse over time or cause a lot of pain, never hesitate to seek medical attention, like most every play aspect of BDSM, Bondage has its dangers and care must be taken to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of the sub/slave.

Rope Burns I only ever happened was when I was ball-gagged and hog-tied with leather cuffs and straps. The DOM left me like that for a very long period of time. The closer wrists and ankles are tied together the more rigorous the torture so I was jerking and twitching my body trying to straighten my legs uncontrollably pulling on my wrists and shoulders.... EEEK😥. For a couple weeks afterwards I made sure nobody observed my wrists at work.. Ha 👄

The closer wrists and ankles are tied together the more rigorous the torture so I was jerking and twitching my body trying to straighten my legs uncontrollably pulling on my wrists and shoulders.... EEEK😥. For a couple weeks afterwards I made sure nobody observed my wrists at work.. Ha 👄

Thank You for your concern for me ryder💋.... Butt I conceited to this activity. We agreed on a safe word before hand butt I ended up ball-gagged so safe words didn't matter. The DOM stayed in the same room so I was under observation while hog-tied and I tried blinking my eyes Morse code but he said later he didn't notice butt I think he just ignored me because he was quite sadistic. The DOM kept me bound while he took his time getting everything else ready with his bag of tricks he brought with him. I'm a glutton for punishment because I hooked up with him a couple more times after this... Ha🤪

I have just discovered rope recently! I think it’s amazing. I want to be tied more. I went to a rope night, but didn’t have a partner to tie me, but wow, I saw some amazing ties. A lady my size 5’3 suspended a man over 6 feet tall and about 250 pounds. It made me want more.

Very true... safety should always come first. When gagged and restrained, an alternative safety signal may be clutching to a piece of clothe and release it/drop it when something is wrong.
