 Somethings in BDSM you shouldn’t have to earn. Honesty, communication of your partner, for example.
But other things, like trust, respect, or praise, should never be given blindly or demanded.
Just because a person calls themselves a Dominant, just because another Dominant calls another person a Dominant, doesn’t mean they are worthy of trust, and respect. Dominants should not hand out praise like candy to babies either.
Submissives too, have to earn the trust and respect of Dominants, and earn the praise of their Dominant.
Any person who demands trust and respect is expecting more than they deserve right from the start.
WE EARN TRUST AND RESPECT.
Don’t let your ego make you lazy. Work for your trust, respect and praise. Put the time in to prove you deserve it. Earning it will make it stronger than anything demanded.
