They say knowledge is power. I do know that knowledge gives you the power to make the choices you need to make when considering whether to give or accept consent, whether to actually participate in a kink, scene play, dynamic and everything else to do with our lifestyle. Without knowledge, deep knowledge, of the lifestyle and all it entails, you are diving blind into something that can not only be an incredible experience, but a dangerous, even deadly experience. We should never get involved with someone you have no knowledge about. Or try something that we have no knowledge about. Nor take the word of anyone blindly. There are few people that would marry someone sight unseen. Can’t think of anyone that would jump off a cliff with someone because they say it is safe. Have knowledge of what you are going to do seems to be common sense to me. Take the time to learn, gain knowledge, before you jump at the chance for instant gratification. © 1/7/24 Ronald Dirienzo

While ball-gagged and hog-tied it's a little too late to talk about safe words... Ha🥴

Oh for the sake of knowledge.....growing up you were always told the old if someone else jumps in a fire are you going to jump also? I always liked the old saying that knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad....a fruit salad is to gag for.....YUCK!

It is also widely expressed that a little knowledge can be dangerous . Greater than knowledge is wisdom , wisdom that comes from experience . I find that a blend of critical thought and intuition delivers to me all that is needed .

There is knowledge. This is the accumulation of data that you hope are true facts, but usually, they are not. There is wisdom. The ability to manipulate data and draw conclusions that may or may not be valid depending on the data and its manipulation. There is understanding. The ability to take facts, true facts that reflect reality, draw conclusions that reflect reality and assimilate them to discover more data and draw better conclusions. We, as humans, repeat this process to better understand reality as it takes all three to advance understanding or what can be called the first moment of understanding.
