Many novices coming into the Lifestyle are as naïve as you can get. They see a movie, or read a novel and feel “THIS IS WHAT I WANT!” Sometimes they are wearing rose colored glasses. Sometimes that are in a rush to get that satisfaction. Some misunderstand reality. Some don’t live in reality. Some are too lazy to investigate and learn. Most of us have been naïve about something in life. It’s not a crime to be unprepared for something in life. But BDSM is not something you want to be naïve about. WE have to be properly prepared for the risks, as well as the pleasures. We have to be prepared to be able to tell the truth from the fiction when talking to prospective partners. There are so many people out there that look for the naïve Lifestyler, to take advantage of them in every way. To tell them lies and bend them to the predators will. This is why I write, this is why I hope that all legitimate members of the Community help the naïve members that have joined the community. Who among us can say they have never gotten into something over their head and needed help to learn or even to get bailed out of a bad situation? That’s what a Community does, in my opinion. It helps others in the Community. It doesn’t turn their backs on those in need and let them fend for themselves. Let them dig their way out of their own problems. There will always be naïve people, for various reasons. We shouldn’t leave them to the dangers of predators. © 1/10/24 Ronald Dirienzo

Good one as usual.....! Keep it up! Sometimes it is really hard to get them to understand that members are trying to help them. Those rose colored glasses turn to black out blinders. We are trying to tell them the real world but they are being filled with the online world and it gets hard to make them understand and you are dead on with the movies, novels and I would add the free porn on the subject online too.....thanks for all you write and post....

I think, every one, on here, who is serious about this "lifestyle", and not just here, for the kinky fuckery, has his or her own learning curve to do, That wich fit his, her personality, and all that.. I could never understand, all those one time, fuck"doms"...?whát? what? is thát all about? Anyway? I was, in some ways naive, really thinking, all dominants wanted this as a relation form, The D-M/ s style, not for some egoistic, dick stroking, waste time activity?  Alas, that was all i encountered on the Dutch part of sites like this.. Totall lack of any bdsm knowledge, too.. strange folks......

There is a movie and a novel called Fifty Shades of Garbage out there. Too many have seen one or read both and now are wanna-be never-be Dom's. Howling at the moon and mal ad osteo.
